Welcome To Sugarloaf Mountain Polocrosse Club

Would you enjoy a fast paced team sport played on a horse? Polocrosse is just that. It's exciting to watch and lots of fun to play. Think of polo played with lacrosse rackets and a soft ball.
Sugarloaf Mountain Polocrosse Club is a polocrosse club based in Western Maryland, close to Sugarloaf Mountain, although our members come from all across the state!
Practices are held at the Potomac Pony Club Field, 19301 Bucklodge Road, Boyds, MD, at 12pm on Sundays. Please RSVP by contacting us if you would like to join the fun. We'll start practicing around the middle to the end of March, 2012, so stay updated or contact us and join the mailing list for updates.
If you don't think your horse will like the game, then try coming on foot. It's a lot of fun, and you'll learn a lot when you're not worrying about teaching the horse at the same time. We're very open to new members and we usually have some equipment you can borrow for your first practice or two.
If you do plan on riding, please bring safe riding attire, including a helmet, shoes with a heel and safe tack. We do not bring spare horses to practice, so please contact us if you need help finding a mount.
